I always associate sequins with soap operas and pageant queens. Joan Collins & Linda Evans on Dynasty and the Miss America Pageant during its heyday. The problem with having a lot of clothes is feeling like you’ve got nothing to wear. I’ve had this top in my closet for 2 years now, but didn’t get a chance to wear it til Monday. Remember Monday when I was stuck on Sunday – well let’s just say I waltz into work feeling bold and sleepy. I had to wear a long black blazer ofcourse (how else can I get away with it), but yup I wore leather & sequins to work. On a Monday nonetheless, lethargy must also translate as trying to get fired…
