Tribal influences is all around us this Fall. As fashion delves into native territory you don’t have to be a world traveler to embrace chunky Peruvian sweaters, fringe suede, Navajo prints & gaucho pants.
The newest take on the tribal trend showed up on fall runways in New York this past February. Where Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez gave us a fresh approach to color & print, inspired by their trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Rodarte, Isabel Marant and Ralph Lauren also chose to go the native route for their fall collection.
Seen here wearing my favorite Jeffrey Campbell Lita’s, Russian doll necklace, gold watch and tribal dress from the mecca of the modern day budget conscious fashionista, Forever 21.
