We fell in love with Belize! Ambergris Caye & Caye Caulker were simply beautiful and we will definitely be visiting again. The view from our hotel room balcony was unbelievable and we spent our down time just watching the sunrise and sunset. We came back inspired and changed by such a beautiful place. Since the island was on 25 miles long & 1 mile wide the mode of transportation is golf carts by land & water taxis or sail boats by sea. Today, I am headed to Ambergris Caye, Belize. Wooohoooo! The island Ambergris Caye, pronounced “am-BER-gris”, is the largest island of Belize located northeast of the country in the Caribbean Sea. Though administered as part of the Belize District, the closest point on the mainland is part of the Corozal District.
