    On Monday, the weather finally let up in NYC and it was beautiful outside. Here are a few pics we took @ Bryant Park during lunch. We were pretty bummed we had to head back to work.     Thrift and The City Shopping Tour Last Sunday a handful of fashion bloggers gathered in the Island of Manhattan for Miss Monroe Steele‘s very first Thrift and The City Shopping tour.     Wearing animal prints are tricky, it can either give your look a touch of class or a nightmarish fashion disaster. I’m not keen on animal prints as it does not suit me, it overwhelms me.     Getting Gorgeous NYC 2011 I attended the Getting Gorgeous with Degree event this past Saturday, hosted by the fabulous duo; Audrey McClelland and Vera Sweeney, co-founders of Getting Gorgeous LLC.  When I arrived, I met this wonderful lady in the elevator who was wearing the most gorgeous necklace.  Sorry I didn’t get a chance to take a pic – bad blogger.  I signed in and was given a neon wristband and a stub for a drink ticket.  For a moment there, I I felt like I was heading into a club only this was mid Saturday Afternoon and the place was lit like a Christmas tree.  I wandered for a good…
