    La Isla Bonita

We fell in love with Belize! Ambergris Caye & Caye Caulker were simply beautiful and we will definitely be visiting again. The view from our hotel room balcony was unbelievable and we spent our down time just watching the sunrise and sunset. We came back inspired and changed by such a beautiful place. Since the island was on 25 miles long & 1 mile wide the mode of transportation is golf carts by land & water taxis or sail boats by sea. I was advised to leave my heels in NYC since all you needed was your slippers, bathing suit, sun dress, shorts & tees. It was such a laid…

    New York, New York

I wanna wake up in a city that never sleeps! New York, home sweet home. I missed NYC and I’m glad to be home. These were taken yesterday outside work during my farewell lunch with Sadia (she’s off on vacation). It was a tad windy, but perfect sunny day. I paired my tan with an oldie but goodie eyelet dress from H&M (from so many seasons ago which I own in 3 different colors). Happy Friday everyone & have a fantastic weekend!!! Before work Tada – I’m ready for work 🙂 Playtime casual wear Eyelet dress from H&M H&M Earrings Sam Edelman Sandals

    Mad for Plaid

Hi everyone! Its only my 2nd day back from my island getaway and I haven’t gotten the chance to upload photos or do posts. Please bear with me, as I’m still on island time and I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. Its great to be back, I have missed the blogosphere. I have returned recharged and inspired. These photos are from May when it was still chilly in NYC. I’m wearing my suede boots from The Loft (Ann Taylor) and this beauty can be pulled up for an over-the-knee look or slouched down. My plaid shirt dress is from H&M. Shirt dresses are my favorite because of its versatility, all I have…

  • Calvin Klein Fall 2011

    Skin City

At Calvin Klein’s fall presentation, global creative director Kevin Carrigan said his women’s collection was inspired by skin — its look, its feel, its color. Thus, there were snakeskin print pieces, form-fitting turtlenecks and colors in tones of tan. Carrigan also worked with soft draped fabrics for a loungewear feel that was evident on robelike coats, pajama-style pants and boy-cut trousers. Handbags were done in embossed snakeskin and textured leather, while shoes stayed minimal and classic. As for men’s wear, the focus turned to sharp suits and monochromatic dressing.

  • Chanel Cruise 2012

    Hotel du Chanel

CHANEL CRUISE 2012 CANNES, France — “This is incredible. I feel like I’m on vacation,” model Frankie Rayder exclaimed as she arrived for a fitting at Karl Lagerfeld’s temporary Chanel studio — a vast, plush room at mythic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc with the same panoramic view of the glistening CĂ´te d’Azur that enchanted the likes of Pablo Picasso a few generations earlier. And that’s precisely what Lagerfeld was after with his latest collection for Chanel. “Cruise is always about going away,” reasoned Lagerfeld, returning for the second year running to the South of France.  But unlike the carefree, Bohemian spirit of his Saint-Tropez outing in May 2010, this collection worked…
